Details
A portable plasma cutter utilizes the heat of a high-temperature plasma arc to melt and cut metal materials. It generates
a high voltage through the plasma cutter's power supply, which ionizes a gas (usually compressed air or another specific
gas) to form a plasma. Plasma is a high-temperature, high-energy, conductive gas that can reach temperatures in the tens
of thousands of degrees Celsius. The plasma arc is ejected from the electrode nozzle of the cutter gun and acts on the
surface of the workpiece at a very high speed and energy, causing the workpiece material to melt rapidly and be blown
away by the high-speed gas stream, thus realizing cutting.
